So the past few days have been pretty horrible. Our sweet puppy dog will be going back to her foster mom on Thursday.
After some pretty serious conversations and a realistic look at the future, Bob and I decided that we are not the perfect family for Reesie. I'm completely in love with her, but her behavioral problems and hatred of cats will require intense training to make her a household dog. We are not equipped to handle that sort of training. She needs someone with more dog experience.
If you are interested in adopting Reesie, you can find her adoption listing here. She's a 10 month old Rottweiler/Pit Bull mix. She is potty trained, loves her toys, and plays well with grown up people and other dogs. Kids are questionable, and cats are an absolute definite no. She is not crate trained and has severe separation anxiety that drugs and collars do not help. She needs a very experienced dog owner who has the time and training knowledge to help her adjust to a new home. She is healthy on the inside, is current on her shots, is spayed, and microchipped.
If you can give Reesie a good home, please consider adopting her.
